CM Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Media Workshop-Cum-Orientation Programme in Agartala
Nov 04, 2025Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated the Media Workshop-cum-Orientation Programme organized by the Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) Department at the Agartala Press Club.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Saha underscored the vital role of the media in strengthening communication between the government and the public. He said that the media serves as an important link in ensuring transparency and accountability in governance.
“Media plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the government and the people. With their active participation, we can ensure more transparent, responsive, and accessible governance for the citizens of Tripura,” the Chief Minister said.
He further emphasized the importance of responsible journalism and urged media professionals to continue working with sincerity and dedication to promote truth and public awareness.
Director of the ICA Department, Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, along with journalists, and other dignitaries, attended the programme.
