Government working beyond political lines for inclusive development: Sushanta Chowdhury

The government is working above political affiliations to ensure the holistic development of all citizens, said Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury while inaugurating a programme organized by the Jirania Nagar Panchayat on Saturday.

The event marked the distribution of housing approval letters to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban 2.0) scheme. A total of 234 urban beneficiaries received official sanction letters for the construction of their houses during the ceremony held at the Jirania Nagar Panchayat premises.

In his address, Minister Chowdhury highlighted that the government’s continuous development-oriented initiatives have led to significant progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and the rural economy across the state. He further expressed optimism that maintaining this pace of growth would help realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision 2047 — transforming India into a fully developed nation by the year 2047.

Among those present at the event were Ratan Kumar Das, Chairperson of Jirania Nagar Panchayat; Pritam Debnath, Chairman of Jirania Panchayat Samiti.
