Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha exuded confidence that the BJP is poised for a sweeping victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, asserting that the “overwhelming support of the people clearly mirrors their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of development.”
Addressing a massive gathering at Ramnagar during the nomination rally of BJP candidates from Ramnagar and Bagaha constituencies, Dr. Saha said the enthusiasm among the people was “a sign of certain victory.”
He said, “The crowd’s energy speaks volumes. With the blessings of Prime Minister Modi, BJP will register a grand victory in Bihar. Out of nine seats in Champaran, we will win all.”
Recalling Champaran’s historic role in India’s freedom struggle, Dr. Saha said, “It was here that Mahatma Gandhi began his Satyagraha. Champaran symbolises courage and transformation, much like the spirit we see in today’s Bihar.”
Drawing parallels between the two states, Dr. Saha noted that Tripura shares a deep bond with Bihar, celebrating Bihar Diwas and hosting a large Bihari community.
He also shared a personal connection, saying, “I spent five years studying in Patna at Dental Medical College. Bihar is truly the soul of India, known for its intellect and resilience.”
