Minister Bikash Debbarma Visits Eklavya Model Residential School in South Tripura

Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, paid a visit to the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Bir Chandra Manu in South Tripura district on Friday to assess the overall functioning and infrastructure of the institution.
During the visit, the Minister closely reviewed various aspects of the school, including its physical infrastructure, quality of education, hostel facilities, daily routines of students, and the working environment of teachers. He interacted directly with both students and teachers to understand their challenges, concerns, and immediate requirements.
Addressing those present, Minister Debbarma assured that necessary steps would be taken to improve the educational environment of the school. This includes providing modern training and support to teachers, as well as implementing timely infrastructural development projects to enhance the learning experience for students.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring quality and value-based education for students belonging to tribal and underprivileged communities through the Eklavya Model Residential Schools. "Our continued efforts are focused on transforming each EMRS into a more modern, well-equipped, and student-friendly institution," the Minister stated.
