Tripura’s Samuel Debbarma Honoured by PM Modi at National Skill Convocation
Oct 05, 2025Samuel Debbarma, a trainee of the Mechanic Diesel Trade (2024–25) at ITI Teliamura in Tripura, has brought pride to the state by receiving a prestigious award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 4th Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh 2025.
Debbarma was declared the Topper for the Northeast Zone under the All India Trade Test (AITT) 2025, conducted by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The recognition, part of a nationwide convocation celebrating excellence in skill development, highlights Samuel’s exceptional performance and dedication in the field of vocational training.
Taking to social media, minister Sudhangshu Das congratulated Samuel, stating, “Receiving this prestigious award from Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the 4th Kaushal Dikshant Samaroh 2025 is a testament to his hard work and a matter of great pride for our state.”
The achievement is being widely celebrated across Tripura, with Samuel’s success seen as an inspiration for youth pursuing technical education and vocational skills.
