CM Dr. Manik Saha attends 'Seva Parv' Programme in Agartala to Mark PM Modi’s Birthday
Sep 27, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday attended the 'Seva Parv' programme held at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala, organized to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event, aimed at promoting service and inclusion, featured several welfare initiatives for persons with disabilities (Divyangjans). These included the distribution of assistive aids, the issuance of approval letters under the Chief Minister's Scheme for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and the felicitation of meritorious athletes with disabilities who have excelled in various fields.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of empowering Divyangjans by making them self-reliant and ensuring their full participation in society. He appealed to all present to treat persons with disabilities with equal dignity and respect, and to recognize their unique abilities and potential.
"Empowerment begins with acceptance and respect. Every Divyangjan possesses unique talents that deserve recognition and support. Our government remains committed to creating inclusive opportunities for all," Dr. Saha stated.
