Traffic Restrictions in Agartala for PM Modi’s Tripura Visit

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to visit Tripura on September 22, the West Tripura District Administration has announced traffic restrictions to ensure smooth movement and security arrangements.
As per the official order, traffic movement will remain restricted on the stretch between Agartala MBB Airport and Sekerkote from 10 AM to 7 PM on the day of the visit. The order specifically prohibits the movement of tippers, trucks carrying bricks, cement, iron rods, bamboo, and other heavy vehicles during the restricted hours.
However, vehicles providing emergency services have been advised to use designated alternative routes. The alternative routes are as follows: Narayanpur – Narsingarh – Ramnagar – Gandhigram Bazar – Shalbagan – Rubber Board – Chandmari. GB – Indranagar – Dhaleswar – Math Chowmuhani – Jogendranagar – Bypass. Adinagar – Battala – Fire Service – Ker Chowmuhani – Shankar Chowmuhani – Barjala – Moylakhla (via Bharat Ratna Club) – MBB Airport. GB – ILS – SDO Chowmuhani – Nandan Nagar – Banika Chowmuhani – Khayerpur – Amtali – Khayerpur Bypass – Amtali.
The administration has urged citizens to cooperate with the arrangements and make use of the alternative routes to minimize inconvenience during the Prime Minister’s visit.
