To mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP Tripura Mahila Morcha President Mimi Majumder led a vibrant cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Kali Mandir in Krishna Nagar, Noagaon, under the 6-Agartala Mandal on Thursday. The initiative was organized as part of the ongoing “Seva Pakhwada”, a fortnight-long campaign dedicated to public service and welfare activities across the country.
The event, spearheaded by the Tripura Pradesh Mahila Morcha, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local women, BJP party workers, community members, and volunteers, all united by a common goal of promoting cleanliness and civic responsibility. As part of the event, sanitation workers from the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) were also felicitated in recognition of their continuous and vital contribution to keeping the city clean.
Addressing the gathering, Mimi Majumder emphasized the significance of Seva Pakhwada, describing it as a reflection of Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a clean, inclusive, and empowered India. She also praised the central government’s flagship scheme “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar”, stating, “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government has placed women’s health and empowerment at the forefront of national development. A healthy woman builds a strong family, and a strong family builds a strong nation.”
The cleanliness drive not only reinforced the core ideals of the Swachh Bharat Mission, but also showcased the BJP Mahila Morcha’s ongoing commitment to grassroots activism, public participation, and women-led change.
