State Govt Offices to Remain Closed for Durga Puja from Sept 29 to Oct 4
Sep 10, 2025The Tripura Government has declared that all State Government Offices will remain closed from September 29 to October 4, 2025, on account of the Durga Puja Festival.
In order to ensure that urgent and important work is not affected during the festive holidays, the Government has instructed all Departments, Heads of Departments, and Heads of Offices to arrange for a skeleton staff to attend office. The staff on duty will work for at least three hours daily, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on September 29 and 30, and on October 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Officials assigned to roster duty during this period will be eligible for compensatory leave on subsequent dates as per existing rules, if they apply for it.
Furthermore, all offices have been directed to prepare a roster duty chart for the Durga Puja holidays and submit a copy to the GA (SA) Department, Secretariat, Tripura through email at [email protected].
