Red Shield Gunners Inaugurate ‘Ex Samanvay Shakti’ in Agartala

The Red Shield Gunners inaugurated the much-anticipated ‘Exercise Samanvay Shakti – Military Civil Fusion Exercise’ in Agartala on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a comprehensive 10-day initiative aimed at bolstering synergy between the Armed Forces and various civil stakeholders.
Scheduled from 02 to 11 September, the exercise brings together an array of participants, including the Civil Administration, Police, Paramilitary Forces, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), academic institutions, and other government agencies. The initiative is designed to foster closer collaboration and build a unified response mechanism to address contemporary challenges.
The focus areas of the exercise include internal security, disaster management, infrastructure development, environmental preservation, and technological innovation—all vital domains for national preparedness and sustainable development.
By promoting a ‘Whole of Nation Approach’, the Armed Forces aim to enhance mutual understanding, strengthen institutional partnerships, and improve collective resilience in the face of both natural and man-made threats.
The inauguration ceremony saw enthusiastic participation and highlighted the growing recognition of integrated civil-military efforts as essential in addressing the complex and interlinked challenges of the 21st century.
