The conference was chaired by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, and brought together ministers from various states, senior bureaucrats, and key dignitaries from across the country. The event served as a platform to review the ongoing efforts under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) and to strategize the way forward for achieving 100% sanitation coverage in rural India.
