In a display of grassroots political engagement and national pride, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury, on Sunday participated in a live listening session of the 125th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 'Mann Ki Baat', alongside local villagers and BJP karyakartas at Booth No. 11 in the 4-Barjala Assembly Constituency.
Minister Chowdhury lauded the milestone episode, describing it as “a testament to the dynamic spirit of the nation on its path towards becoming a stronger, more prosperous India.”
“'Mann Ki Baat' has captured the imagination of millions of Indians. It is not just a radio programme—it is a movement that connects the Prime Minister deeply with the people of this country,” the minister said.
He further added that the programme consistently portrays Prime Minister Modi as a caring, responsible, empathetic, and decisive leader, committed to improving the quality of life of every Indian citizen.
