In a significant step toward advancing child welfare and rights in the region, the Government of Tripura, in collaboration with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), hosted the One Day North Eastern Regional Convention on Child Rights at Pragna Bhavan, Agartala, on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering of delegates, officials, and child rights advocates, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha underlined the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for every child.
“A child nurtured and protected today will become a responsible citizen of tomorrow. Investing in children is no less than investing in our collective future,” said Dr. Saha.
The convention brought together key stakeholders from across the northeastern states to deliberate on issues of child protection, education, health, and holistic development.
