CM Dr. Manik Saha inaugurates blood donation camp and Ganesh Puja
Aug 26, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp and Ganesh Puja celebration organized by the Bighnaharta Social Organization. The event, held in Agartala, drew participation from several enthusiastic blood donors and community members, highlighting the growing involvement of youth in social welfare initiatives.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha praised the organization for its commendable effort in combining a humanitarian cause with a cultural celebration. “A noble initiative like blood donation is a reflection of the youth’s spontaneous participation in social causes. It not only saves lives but also spreads a powerful message of mutual cooperation, social responsibility, and unity,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the social fabric and encouraged more organizations to undertake similar efforts that blend tradition with community service.
Also present at the event was Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, who applauded the organization’s commitment to public welfare. Other local dignitaries and volunteers also participated, making the event a successful convergence of devotion and duty.
