CM Dr. Manik Saha listens to public grievances in 52nd episode of ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’
Aug 20, 2025Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday chaired the 52nd episode of ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’, a flagship outreach initiative aimed at addressing the concerns of citizens directly and ensuring timely redressal.
Held in Agartala, the programme saw participation from residents across various districts of the state. Individuals presented a wide range of grievances, particularly related to healthcare and public services. The Chief Minister gave patient hearings and issued immediate instructions to resolve several of the issues raised.
One of the key highlights of the session was the instant issuance of Ayushman Bharat health cards to eligible individuals facing health-related difficulties. Dr. Saha also took note of various complaints regarding services at GBP Hospital and directed the Health Secretary to take strict corrective measures to improve the hospital's functioning and service quality.
Senior government officials, department secretaries, and the Medical Superintendent of GBP Hospital were present at the event, ensuring that departmental responses were swift and coordinated.
