Dainik Sangram newspaper officially launched in Agartala

The Dainik Sangram, a new Bengali daily, was officially launched on Wednesday at the Sukanta Academy Auditorium in Agartala. The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent dignitaries, including Swami Chitta Ranjan Maharaj, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Dainik Sangram Editor Binoti Sarkar, and Asian Times Editor Samarash Dey.
The event marked a significant moment for regional journalism, as speakers emphasized the importance of a free and responsible press in shaping society. Editor Binoti Sarkar expressed hope that Dainik Sangram would serve as a voice for the people and uphold journalistic values.
As part of the launch ceremony, students from the area who achieved notable success in the 2025 Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations were felicitated. The recognition aimed to encourage young achievers and celebrate academic excellence.
