CM Dr. Manik Saha chairs inaugural meeting of State Advisory Committee on Information and Cultural Affairs
Aug 05, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired the first meeting of the State Level Advisory Committee under the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs on Tuesday. The meeting, held in Agartala, marked a significant move toward strengthening the cultural policy framework and infrastructure of the state.
The newly constituted committee includes prominent personalities from Tripura’s art, literature, and cultural fields. During the session, members discussed key issues concerning the state’s cultural landscape, including the current state of infrastructure and strategies for its improvement and modernization.
Chief Minister Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of nurturing Tripura’s cultural identity and urged all committee members to take an active role in promoting and preserving the state’s rich heritage and traditions.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need to promote healthy cultural practices and ensure that modern development goes hand-in-hand with the preservation of Tripura’s unique cultural legacy.
