Assam Rifles Organises Cycle Rally

In a spirited initiative to promote health, fitness, and sporting culture, the Assam Rifles conducted a Cycle Rally on Monday under the Government of India's Fit India Movement, a component of the broader Khelo India Scheme.

The rally saw the enthusiastic participation of 92 civilians, including students, youth, and senior citizens, who cycled a distance of 20 kilometres through the picturesque landscapes surrounding Radhanagar. The event was aimed at encouraging people of all age groups to adopt an active lifestyle and embrace fitness as a core part of daily life.

Flagged off in the early hours of the day, the rally highlighted the importance of physical well-being and spread awareness about fitness as a foundation for a healthy and resilient society. It also sought to inspire young people to explore sports not just as a hobby, but as a viable and rewarding career option.

The event witnessed strong community involvement, reflecting the growing awareness around health and wellness across Tripura. Participants rode with enthusiasm, carrying banners and messages promoting active living and national health goals.
