Addressing a gathering of cricketers, sports enthusiasts, and TCA stakeholders, Dr. Saha extended his best wishes to the newly inducted members and commended the association's consistent efforts in promoting cricket across Tripura.
“Cricket remains one of the most cherished sports in India, and its popularity in Tripura is steadily growing. It is encouraging to see the TCA’s dedication to nurturing the sport at all levels,” the Chief Minister said.
Highlighting the importance of identifying and supporting young talent, Dr. Saha stressed the need for a collaborative approach involving the government, sports bodies, and local communities. “With a shared vision and coordinated effort, we can take Tripura’s cricketing ambitions to greater heights,” he added.
Dr. Saha, who shares a longstanding association with the TCA, also underlined the significance of building a strong sporting culture through proper infrastructure and grassroots development.
