CM Dr. Manik Saha chairs review meeting on Web Portals for Key Departments
Jul 24, 2025Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday chaired a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat’s Conference Hall to discuss the development and enhancement of web portals for the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Home Department, and Health Department.
Highlighting the role of technology in governance, Dr. Saha emphasized the importance of modern digital platforms in making public administration more efficient and accessible to all sections of society. He noted that web-based grievance redressal systems, in particular, have proven to be highly effective in addressing citizen concerns in a timely manner.
"Modern technology plays a crucial role in making administration accessible to all. Especially, the grievance redressal systems enabled through these web portals have significantly improved service delivery," the Chief Minister stated during the meeting.
He further added that the state government is committed to continuously upgrading its digital infrastructure to ensure better transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the CMO, Home, and Health Departments, along with IT experts and digital governance consultants.
