YRF’s Saiyaara title track becomes first Bollywood song to enter Spotify Global Top 7

Yash Raj Films’ latest musical drama Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, is creating history across global charts and box office alike. The film’s title track has become the first Bollywood song ever to breach the Top 7 of Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart, clocking an astounding 3.87 million streams globally in a single day out of which 3.61 million came from India alone.

Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara has become the biggest Bollywood debut film since Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, achieving Rs. 100 crores in just four days. The film’s unprecedented success has catapulted the debutants into overnight stardom, earning them the title of Gen Z’s newest sweethearts.

At the heart of this cinematic wave is the Saiyaara music album, which is being hailed as one of the best Bollywood music collections in recent memory. The album features a star-studded lineup of artists and composers including Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem-Arslan, Jubin Nautiyal, Shilpa Rao, Vishal Mishra, Arijit Singh, Sachet-Parampara, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mithoon. All six tracks from the film are currently dominating the Spotify India Top 50, with the title track holding steady at #1 for five consecutive days.

These chart placements mark a rare feat in Bollywood music history, especially with Saiyaara entering the Top 10 globally, making it the first Hindi film song ever to achieve this milestone. While rapper Hanumankind previously reached the same global position with Big Dawgs, it was a non-Bollywood single.
