CM Dr Manik Saha reviews ongoing infrastructure work in Agartala
Jul 20, 2025Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha conducted an extensive inspection on Sunday across several localities in Agartala, including Gangail Road, Melarmath, Joynagar, and Dashmighaat (Wards 32 and 34), to review the progress of ongoing development projects.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Dipak Majumder, along with senior officials, the Chief Minister assessed the status of various infrastructure works currently underway. During the visit, he also interacted with local residents to listen to their concerns and gather feedback on the development activities.
Speaking to the media, CM Saha emphasized the state government’s commitment to improving civic infrastructure in Agartala. He noted that projects such as improved drainage systems are being prioritized to enhance the overall quality of life for city residents.
“To provide better services and ensure a cleaner, more efficient urban environment, we are focusing on critical infrastructure projects. Public feedback plays a vital role in shaping these efforts,” the Chief Minister stated.
