Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' to Release in Hindi as 'Saamrajya' on July 31

Actor Vijay Deverakonda is set to make a powerful comeback to the big screen with his upcoming action drama Kingdom, which is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on July 31, 2025. The film will release in Hindi under the title Saamrajya, offering audiences an intense tale of betrayal, vengeance, and redemption set against a grand and violent backdrop.

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, best known for the National Award-winning film Jersey, Kingdom marks a dramatic departure from Deverakonda’s previous roles. In the film, he portrays a hardened, battle-scarred character who rises from a brutal past to lead a fractured kingdom plagued by treachery and broken loyalties.

Speaking about the film, Tinnanuri said, “Saamrajya is about a man who never aspired to rule, but is forced to rise because the world around him collapses. His scars are not just physical — they are the remnants of a fallen world and perhaps the signs of its rebirth.”

Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the Hindi version is being presented by Aditya Bhatia (Adwise Movies) and Atul Rajani, and will be distributed across North India by AA Films.

The film’s teaser has already generated massive buzz online, amassing millions of views within hours of release. Adding to its pan-India appeal, the teaser features voiceovers by leading stars from across the country Jr NTR in Telugu, Suriya in Tamil, and Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi.
