Reacting sharp on Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banarjee’s claim of getting majority mandate in the upcoming municipal poll, the state Information and Cultural Affair Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday has asked the TMC not to hide out their face after the poll and the BJP shall speak on November 28 next while the poll result shall be declared.

“People of this state will never vote for such uncultured party, where an MLA has opened his shirt publically to show the strength of his TMC party. The TMC is showcasing its jungle-raj culture which it has been doing in West Bengal,” Choudhury said.

He said, “Today Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee is showing his confidence of getting people’s mandate in the upcoming poll, but he and his party should not hide out their face after November 28 when the poll result will be declared.” The TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee urged the people not to get scared of BJP 'hooligans' and make them fool by pretending to be a BJP supporter in order to reach polling booths safely. "If you are scared to reach to polling booths then I suggest to carry a BJP’s lotus flag and chant 'BJP Zindabad' but reaching inside the booth press the button of 'Jodaphool' (TMC symbol). They have made you a fool for a long now it is your time to make BJP fool," he said.

Meanwhile, reacting on TMC MPs ‘dharna’ outside Amit Shah's Office over alleged police brutality in Tripura, the Union MoS and MP Pratima Bhoumik today said, “This is because of the culture of the BJP party that the TMC MPs could sit for dharna infront of the office of Amit Shah. In that case do you think that the culture of West Bengal would have allowed BJP MP Locket Chaterjee sit for dharna infront of WB Chief Minister’s office at Nabanna?” “The TMC has destroyed the pride and culture of Bangla, which we need to save and restore it,” she said.
