TSECL launches consumers friendly mobile app

The Tripura government is working to improve the power connectivity across the state ensuring better and upgraded power supply with an utmost priority basis, said power minister Jishnu Dev Verma on Monday.

Dev Verma said this while launching 'Bidyut Bandhu' mobile app, TSECL Officers mobile app and state-of-the-art official website of TSECL at the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited.

He said that the TSECL is working towards the goal of increasing revenue collection through proper management system.

The government has been working from the very beginning to provide better services to the citizens through modernization of various services in the power sector, he said.

"TSECL is working to improve the quality of services. It will also be possible to save time by introducing new methods in a timely manner. With the launch of the Power friendly mobile app, no one has to come to the office to get various services," he said.

He said that with the launch of this apps, consumers can lodge various electricity related complaints, pay bills, apply for new electricity connections, disconnect electricity, change tariffs, change customer names, etc. sitting at home.

Jishnu Dev Verma further said that TSECL is also working towards providing services to the customers and development of the service providers.
