CM Biplab Kumar Deb attends swearing-in ceremony of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma has been sworn in as the 15th chief minister of Assam at the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra on Monday. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today attended the searing-in-ceremony and said, “I am sure Assam will touch newer heights under his able and dynamic leadership. We will work as a team to take North East to newer heights of success and development.”

Deb took on to this tweeter handle to state, “On behalf of the 37 lakh people of Tripura. I express warm greetings to Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma ji on being sworn-in as the Chief Minister of #Assam. Under the able leadership of #Himanta Da, BJP Assam and its allies shall persevere to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Assam.” “Under the visionary leadership of PM Sh Narendra Modi ji, we are committed to transforming #NorthEast as the #Ashtalakshmi of India,” Deb’s tweet reads.

Along with the Assam’s former CM Sarbananda Sonowal Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, Manipur CM N Biren Singh, and Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio remained present at the swearing-in ceremony of Himanta. Himanta Biswa Sarma is being administered the oath of his office of new Assam CM by Governor Jagdish Mukhi. BJP national president JP Nadda and other leaders present at the ceremony.
