4 Bangladeshi nationals arrested: 1found COVID 19 positive

Acting on a tip-off BSF 20th Battalion along with police personnel of Kailashahar Police Station jointly held four Bangladeshi youths from Paitur Bazar Motor Stand in Kailashahar.

Talking to www.tripuratoday.com over telephone Officer In Charge of Kailashahar Police Station   Perth Munda said that the four Bangladeshi youths have entered India by cutting the fence.

 The four arrested Bangladeshi Nationals have been identified as Shahjahan Ali (28) Rajan Mia (25) Nantu Mia (28) Ahmed Ali (33) all of them are residents of Moulvibazar, Bangladesh. Among the four arrested Bangladeshi Nationals Shahjahan Ali was found COVID 19 positive, Munda added.

Police also recovered Rs 4,500 Indian currency from them. The four arrested Bangladeshi Nationals claimed they had planned to go to Dharmanagar. A case have been taken against the four Bangladeshi Nationals and will be produced before court, said Munda.
