Photo exhibition held to mark 75 years of Indian Independence

On the occasion of celebrating 75 years of Independence ' Azadi Ka Amrut Mahostav' Field Outreach Bureau of Agartala under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday organised a 5-day long photo exhibition to remind the citizens of the value of freedom and sacrifices made by the freedom fighters to secure the future of the nation.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition today the director of Information and Cultural Affairs of Government of Tripura – Ratan Biswas has lauded the effort of the organizers in putting up this exhibition and said this draws the attention of the youth to the contribution and the sacrifice of freedom fighters.

The idea of conducting such exhibitions and programmes helps to instill a sense of pride and helps us to Emphasis on India’s glorious history and culture.The Director of All India Radio – A Bijoy Kumar, Director of Doordarshan Kendra Agartala – P Rangaswamy among others remained present in the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition .
