B’desh HC designate to India Muhammad Imran calls on Tripura CM

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday discussed various issues involving Bangladesh with the Country’s High Commissioner designate to India  H.E Muhammad Imran while he calls on Deb today on his office chamber.

Soon after the meeting Deb took on to his tweeter handle to state, “Held a fruitful meeting with Bangladeshi High Commissioner to India, H.E. Muhammad Imran today where we discussed the progress of various projects between the two nations in Tripura. Timely completion of these projects shall further strengthen India-Bangladesh relations.”

During the course of interaction today Deb has apprised the HC of various ongoing project works of Tripura connecting Bangladesh. Deb said, “The Chottagram Port will open a gateway to the North-East region of India through Tripura which perhaps shall also benefit the Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, talking to the reporters after the meeting the High Commissioner Muhammad Imran said, “The relation between the Bangladesh and Tripura shall be strengthened more in near future and today we have discussed on the way out of developing the Indo-Bangla relation.”
