Dr. Pradip Bhowmik under 24X7 observation at ICU in Kolkata

COVID-19 positive doctor from Tripura - Dr. Pardip Bhowmik who was shifted to Kolkata private run hospital is currently under 24X7 observation and his plasma therapy started from couple of days back is completed, said Dr. Sushmita Roy Chowdhury on Sunday noon.

Talking to Tripuratoday.com today, Dr. Roy Chowdhury from Kolkata hospital informed that Dr. Bhowmik is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital's ICU. On being asked the doctor informed, "Dr. Bhowmik is retiring adequate number of oxygen support and his health condition not stable.

We are keeping a close watch on his health condition." Dr. Pradeep Bhowmik, a doctor of the department of medicine at GB Hospital, was actively involved in the state’s fight against the deadly  COVID-19. The doctor was taken to Kolkata from Agartala by an air ambulance soon after he was tested positive with the virus.

Following imperceptible infection, Dr. Bhowmik tested positive for COVID19 last week on Friday and initially he was in home isolation. But as he felt breathing problems on Monday, he had to be admitted to the ICU in GBP hospital where he was under treatment with constant oxygen supply.
