COVID-19: Tripura’s recovery rate crosses 80%

While the COVID-19 recovery rate of the state of Tripura crosses the national count of 53 per cent, the state’s active cases now rests at 269 with the total positive patients counting to 1292. A total of more 32 people in the state are tested COVID-19 positive on Thursday.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today tweeted and said, "Among the 1141 samples tested for #COVID19, 32 people found #POSITIVE. 24 people have travel history & others are contacts of COVID19 patients."

Meantime, education minister also the state’s cabinet spokesperson Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday evening said, “The COVID-19 patients’ recovery rate of the state rests at 80.62 per cent.”

“A total of 1019 patients are recovered in the state so far,” adding to this Nath told media that a total of 122 patients are recovered on Thursday from different COVID Care Centres of the state after they were tested negative.
