COVID-19 active case tally in Tripura rests at 125

With a total of 31 COVID-19 positive patients in Tripura recovered after tested negative consecutive tests, the state’s active cases tally now rested at 127. State cabinet minister also cabinet spokesperson Ratan Lal Nath today told this to media and said, “Recently 29 Corona positive patients were recovered and the state’s active cases rested at 125 with previous 2 positive patients recovered earlier and adding another COVID-19 positive case of BSF official on Wednesday night.”

“At present 64 positive patients are undergoing  treatment at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel COVID Care Centre and another 60 are undergoing treatment at Agartala’s GBP Hospital,” he said. Meantime, addressing the press conference this evening Mr. Nath told media, “On May 17 and May 19, two separate train will start from Tripura for Bihar boarding the stranded migrant workers especially the brick kiln workers.” He said that on May 17 the first train will start from Jirania rail station for Bihar and another train from Belonia rail station for Bihar on May 19.
