Mumbai police arrest Assam youth for threatening to kill an Indian cricketer

Mumbai police had arrested an Assam youth, who threatening to kill a Team India cricketer. According to the reports, a team of Mumbai police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had arrested the youth from Dharamtul area in central Assam’s Morigaon district on Tuesday with the help of Morigaon district police.

The youth was identified as Braja Mohan Das. A top official of Morigaon police said that, Mumbai police had arrested the youth following a complaint lodged by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

“The youth sent a mail to the BCCI and threatened to kill an Indian cricket team member. The BCCI had immediately informed the Mumbai police and they had contacted us to track the youth,” the police official said. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police have taken him into their custody.
