Tripura to send 20, 000 Jai Sree Ram' post cards to Mamata in Bengal: Vijaya

The BJP Mohila Morcha National President Vijaya Rahatkar who is in visit to Tripura on Thursday announced to send one lakh postcards with "Jai Shri Ram" written on them to West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banarjee in protest against Banerjee recently reprimanding BJP workers who chanted slogans of Ram near her convoy last week.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarter on Thursday Vijaya Rahatkara said that of this 5 lakhs post cards, at least 20, 000 post cards shall be send from Tripura. She said, "The purpose behind sending the postcards is to make Mamata Banarjee realise chanting "Jai Shri Ram" slogan is not a crime."

Meantime, Rahatkar today taking on Mamata Banarjee govenrment at Bengal said, "The Lok Sabha election was just a trailer for the Mamata Banarjee's Trinamool Congress. The assembly election is not yet over, which shall vanish this Trinamool Congress from Bengal."

Vijaya Rahatkar is in visit to Tripura to attend the party's victory rally on Friday, where the BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav along with BJP state president Biplab Kumar Deb and other leaders shall remain present. Vijaya Rahatkara is also expected to attend party's organisation meeting to be chaired by Ram Madhav on Friday.
