Sanjeev Ranjan out of NHAI

Centre on Sunday carried out a reshuffle of officials with Braj Raj Sharma being made the Secretary of the Border Management Department. Ruolkhumliem Buhril has been moved from the Inter-State Council Secretariat to the Land Resources Department, where he will take over as Secretary on Anant Kumar Singh’s retirement on March 31Mr. Buhril will join the department as Officer on Special Duty during the transition. NHAI Chairman Sanjeev Ranjan has been moved to the Road Transport and Highways Ministry to take over as Secretary on Yudhvir Singh Malik’s retirement on March 31.

Narendra Nath Sinha has been made the NHAI Chairman. Rabindra Panwar, Special Secretary, Home Ministry, has been moved to the Women and Child Development Ministry as Secretary.During the transition, he will be the Officer on Special Duty. Mr. Panwar’s replacement in the Home Ministry is Bhupendra Singh, who is Chairman of the National Authority of Chemicals Weapons Convention. Mr. Singh will be the new Special Secretary

And Financial Adviser.Rural Electrification Corporation Chairman and Managing Director P. Venkata Ramesh Babu has been made Director- General of the National Archives. Ramesh Kumar Vats has been appointed as Secretary-General of the Medical Council of India.The orders were issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Sunday after the clearance from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
