Modi determined to make Tripura gateway to SEA

Speaking at the mammoth rally held at Vivekananda Maidan Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his firm commitment to make Tripura the gateway of South East Asia. Soon water connectivity via Chittagong and Ashuganj port and land connectivity through the Feni bridge will materialize, he declared. He started his speech by thanking the people for ushering in paribartan and claimed he has seen the signs of freedom while coming to the venue of the rally from airport. 

He mentioned of the unveiling of the statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram at airport which will fill all visitors to the state with positive vibes. He again mentioned of the HIRA model which he had advocated ahead of assembly poll. He blamed Congress - CPI(M) combine juganbandi for moving ahead goondas, dalals middlemen and taking away the dues of middle class and poor.

They have difficulty with the majboot (strong) government at the centre. Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma delivered the welcome address. Speaking on the occasion chief minister Biplab Deb thanked PM for the historic budget that has an enhanced allocation of 21 % for North East, 36 % for SC and 27 % ST. Four lakh families will

benefit from the scheme to provide Rs 6,000 to farmers with 12 kani land. In his speech mixed with Hindi and Bengali he thanked the PM for giving Rs 1,500 crore in excess of budgetary allocation. Despite a boycott call by three Parliament members and TSF Vivekananda Maidan saw good assembly from across the state today.
