CPI-M protests alleged attempt to attack on opposition MP and party leaders

The opposition CPIM party on Monday marched on a protest rally voicing against the Incident took place at Ambassa on Sunday last, where the MP Jitendra Chowdhury along with other party leaders were restricted from conducting a meeting allegedly by a group of BJP supporters.The protest rally on Monday was lead by senior party leader Pabitra Kar, who condemned the incident and said that such incidents are intolerable.

A group of locals tagging them as the BJP supporters have climed the party office and allegedly stopped the opposition party leaders from conducting the meeting.However, the MP Jitendra Chowdhury condemning the incident has informed that the situtaion was normalised due to the intervention of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb who was phone called during the incident.
