Manik addressed rally in Hisar

Hisar starts its 34th All India Conference of the Kisan Sabha with a call for strengthening the rights of the farmers when the agricultural sector is facing severe difficulties. Thousands of farmers, including women, started the rally. On the  first day, the CPI (M) Polit Bureau members Manik Sarkar, S Ramachandran Pillai, Kisan Sabha President Amra Ram and General Secretary Hanan Mulla led the campaign. A three-day  delegates meeting was started.  750 delegates will attend. The Conference will continue on Wednesday.On Thursday, the commissions of the Kisan Sabha will be presented in three subjects. Ramachandran and Viju Krishnan will present a comprehensive report on agriculture crops, prices and trade. Ram Kumar will present a report on agricultural credit and crop insurance. Ashok Davale and P Krishna Prasad will present the report on the future activities of building a united front in farming rights in agriculture. The review of the reports and the takeover of the struggles will be discussed.
